New Mama Monday- October 5th, 2020

🌟 Happy New Mama Monday! One of the best things about Our Village of mamas, is that it’s made up of moms from all over who have found themselves in the Piedmont Triad. 🌟⁣⁣

⁣⁣

The week, meet Trish! 🌟 She’s a west coast-turned east coast mama 🌊. We’re so happy she and Bodhi are here in NC with us!⁣⁣

⁣⁣

“We moved from the PNW at the beginning of the year and didn't have friends or family here. We met a few people but Covid hit, and I was feeling pretty secluded. Before having our son, I was fairly active, however, once he arrived I was having a difficult time finding motivation or energy. ⁣⁣

I joined a Facebook moms group, and saw a New Mama Monday posted, and thought I would give it a try. I'm typically a pretty shy introverted person at first, so I was feeling all kinds of nerves and trying to come up with an excuse not to go.⁣⁣

When we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and we were welcomed into the large group of women. As we walked to one of the stations, one of the moms started talking to us and immediately eased my nerves. She shared some ideas of things to do in the area and talked to me more about the classes Fit4Mom offers. I didn't even realize how much I had missed social interaction in the midst of COVID.⁣⁣

I have since met some amazing women and kiddos through Fit4Mom. I really look forward to catching up with everyone each day and motivating each other to push ourselves in class. I have loved being able to see results in the length of time I can jog. It's obvious the classes are building my endurance and increasing my energy to be a better and healthier mom to Bodhi. Bodhi has loved having a chance to interact with other kiddos his age and play at the playgrounds and play groups.⁣⁣

If you are at all considering the program I would encourage you to come join us as you'll be welcomed and cared for immediately.” 💗
