This week, meet Lindsay! Here’s what she has to say about her experience with @fit4mom_piedmont :
“I went to my first class after I got a card about Fit4mom at my daughter’s preschool. I am so glad I went to the class, because I have met all these wonderful women. Also, I love the fact that I can bring my kids in the stroller, so I never have to find a babysitter to go exercise. It makes exercising a lot easier. ✅
When I hear the phase, “Empowered women empower women”, I always think of my Fit4Mom group. The instructors and all of the other moms are so strong, and I feel pushed to do my best. We always cheer each other on.
Being in this group has really helped me through this pandemic, I feel better not only physically, but also mentally. I also just feel so much more motivated to push myself when I exercise in this group. I wish I had known about this group when I had my daughter, because I remember being so lonely at the beginning. It's a safe place to not only exercise but also a safe place to get out and socialize with other moms with similar experiences.
To the moms thinking about joining, I would say to just go try a free class. If your kid cries or acts up, no one is judging because we have all been there! The instructors use kids music and bubbles to keep the kids engaged. Everyone is also very respectful of space and social distancing. So happy I have found my mom group!!!!”
🙌🏽 We’re so happy you’re part of #ourvillage too! @lindsay.f.welch
