Hannah was born in Colorado and raised in Kansas. Hannah has a bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s degree in secondary education with science concentration. She moved to North Carolina for her first teaching job where she met her husband, Erik. Hannah’s family has expanded to include Kersee, born in 2015, and Sydney, born in 2017.
Hannah has always enjoyed working out and being competitive. She played volleyball, basketball, and track through high school and continued with track at the collegiate level. While in college, Hannah also picked up Olympic lifting and was a top competitor. You can still find Hannah lifting in her garage. She also coaches volleyball and track Northwest Guilford High School.
Hannah joined Fit4Mom when they started the evening classes in Greensboro and became hooked. Her love for working out and seeing the joy it brings everyone made her want to become an instructor. Hannah also loves how much the children learn from classes, including counting, the alphabet, colors, socialization, and how important it is to take care of yourself.
